It has always been my dream to open a tapas bar filled with warmth and laughter. I spent my early twenties living in Barcelona, I studied Spanish and Politics in Chile and spent a mid-life gap year on the beautiful island of Mallorca. I am a self-confessed lover of all things Hispanic. I love the atmosphere and buzz you get when you walk into a lively bar, filled with the happiness that comes from good cooking, the hum of animated conversation and great music. I am passionate about quality food and wine and I hope to bring the flavours and aromas of Mediterranean life to Malvern.
Originally from Iraq, Raed Alkhori now lives in Malvern with his wife and two boys. Raed has over 20 years experience as a chef, working in 5 star hotels and restaurants. Raed is passionate about high quality cuisine, using only the best ingredients, locally sourced where possible.
Raed says ‘I’m looking forward to creating delicious tapas for Malvern to enjoy. Using recipes that Lucy has collected on her travels, I will add a unique twist that will make Bar Limón’s dishes authentic but different!’
